Sancho's Tacos: A Flavorful Escape in Oceanside, CA

Love this place! We usally visit the San Clemente one and love this spot is close to home. The service is awesome and the food is so good. My favorite is the Skrimp Carnal, which is the beer battered shrimp. Highly recommend! *10/15/23 update Can't wait to go back here. Had the tri-tip burrito with habanero salsa. Absolutely delicious! Kids had chicken burritos and the chicken was a bit dry. Also had shrimp tacos and they were very good! Cool atmosphere.

A fun place to visit, a bit touristy, but it's good to come here, you'll meet local ppl too

Very good food! We got the surf and turf burrito and the bean and cheese burrito with guac added in and it was delicious! Ate every bite. Burritos are a really good size as well! The star was friendly and food came out quick and super hot! Would totally recommend this place to grab a bite to eat and sitting on the patio is a nice choice.

If you are visiting, staying in ocean side these are a must have. These are hands down the Best tacos. The surf and turf is to die for. We went back 3 days in a row on our short stay thats how good they are. Our bartender Caleb was the best!

Great dining space inside and it’s so close to the beach. Even better are the battered fish tacos!! They’re our family’s favorite anytime we’re here. I can usually get away with just one taco, but if I’m being indulgent, we will grab a couple. Their churros are delicious too. Great service! Staff are always quick and friendly. It’s the only spot to grab fish tacos, in my opinion. Definitely try to dine in, but if you’re grabbing takeout, make sure to not let your tacos get soggy.

Their shrimp and fish tacos are amazing. I go there every time I visit Oceanside. Highly recommend!

Sancho’s Tacos has a few other locations in Southern California. This particular one in Oceanside has been open for 7-ish years and the Bar area is approximately 2-ish years old. There used to be booth seating, before they were approved to build the bar portion. Jacob (Cowboy Hat) was our Bartender and recommended some tasty tacos and beverages to try. We had the following and it was all sooooo tasty! - Surf & Turf Tacos - Angus Try Tip, Sauteed Shrimp, Sour Cream, Cabbage, Pico De Gallo and Chipotle Sauce. - Flounder Pounder - Grilled Marinated Fish, Cabbage & Cilantro, Crema Fresca, Salsa Verde and Chubbie Sauce - Pounder’s Carnal - Hand Dipped, Beer Battered fish on a Flour Tortilla topped with Cabbage, Pico, Chipotle and Sour Cream - Skrimps - Grilled to Order Shrimp, Sauteed in Real Butter with Fresh Garlic and Parsley, Fresh Cabbage, Pice De Gallo and Chipotle Sauce If you’re looking for a quick bite, a satisfying lunch, or a delicious dinner, and you’re also in the mood for some adult beverages, Sancho’s Tacos is the place to be! The atmosphere is so vibrant and the service is top-notch. You’ll definitely have a great time!
